Overdale House of Prayer is a work of the Sisters of the Little Company of Mary.

Founded in 1877 in Nottingham, England, we are an international community of women religious dedicated to evanglization, prayer for and care of the sick, the dying, the poor and the marginalized.

The history of Overdale began when the property known as Overdale was left to the Sisters by the Leahy family in the 1958

Set in the Riverina district of NSW, Overdale was a working property until the middle of the 1960's. Since then, Overdale has variously served as a rest house, a conference centre, a retreat house and house of spirituality.

Overdale now functions as a House of Prayer for those who wish to make space and time in their lives to nurture their souls.
